1. Are you new to beta reading?
Well, definitely not. I've helped a bunch authors so far and I got a lot of experience.

2. Your age (optional):
I'm 17 years old, young I know, but nothing dark or mature scares me enough. I would prefer to avoid M+ though.

3. How many authors would you like to beta read?
I guess I can work with as much as two at a time.

4. Genre(s) – Please be specific:
My favourite genres include romance, action, drama and horror, in which I, myself, excell. Nevertheless, I'd love helping with any kind of story with a deep meaning, lots of twists and complex character concepts, as I find it intriguing and quite challenging.
I'm also comfortable working with all kinds of fanfiction (games, books, anime etc...). If you got one for me, send me a message to see if it's on my list. If it's not, I'll be happy to at least help with grammar and vocabulary only, although it has occured to me to watch some series just to help with the fanfic.

5. What won't you beta?
I wouldn't be as eager to beta science-fiction and children stories, as I'm not really into these genres. In addition, I would not beta-read any kind of story revolving around content that insults specific groups (sexism, racism etc.)

6. What's your writing skill level?
I would say I'm an expert when it comes to vocabulary and grammar, as I've been studying English for a long time now.. I can help a lot with syntax as well, even with more complicated styles. I'm at my best with British English, but I am also familiar with old and american English.

7. How serious are you about your writing?
Well, to be frank, not much. I write because I think it's a beautiful way to express myself and share my thoughts with other people.

8. Your writing strengths:
My basic writing strenghts are visible in scenes with a lot of action or scenes including heavy and emotional moments. I like complex sentences, got a wide vocabulary and if you're writing in realism or naturalism, I'm your beta. What's more, I have a good sense of humor and I can help create funny situations or jokes. I'm also fairly good when it comes to plot structure and the relationships between the characters, as well as how they interact with each other and to what point they contribute to the story. I can spot typos, grammar mistakes and syntax errors faster than MS Word and I can correct them even faster, but I'm mostly looking to help the author understand why something has to change so that the next time they'll be able to deal with it themselves.

9. Writing weaknesses:
I'd say I'm not that good when it comes to beta-reading poems.
As for prose, I think I would face problems dealing with stories which have to do with middle-aged and elder people, as I cannot get into their way of thinking as easily as I could do so with a young adult or teen character.
I dislike slang. A lot.

10. What are you looking for in an author?
Well, I'm looking for a cooperative buddy to work with, I tend to get quite friendly over time, so I wouldn't like to work with someone who is not cheerful and patient. I don't mind helping with stories that are still on the making, however I do request summaries when I'm about to beta a story. If possible, I would like to work with authors that are willing to work hard and follow or at least try out my advice. I tend to assign excercises, and I also have my own guides for several skills an author requires.
Lastly, I would love to work with beginners, but I don't mind beta-ing more experienced authors either.

11. Do you promise to put sincere effort into your partnership?
Yes, hehe.
